2 REQUIREMENTS
Students participating in the University Honors Program
as Discipline Honors Scholars (Track 2) are required to complete 16-17
credits distributed as follows:
IU193
Freshman Seminar (1 credit)
Students entering the University Honors Program during their
freshman year will enroll for the honors section of a one-credit freshman
seminar (IU193H) in fall semester. Transfer students are not required
to take this class.
Honors
Thesis Requirement (4 credits)
All Honors students (Track 1 and Track 2) are required to complete
HP399 Honors Pre-Thesis (1 credit) and HP499 Honors Senior Thesis (3
credits). Track 2 students must complete their thesis requirement in
their major.

Each department defines the Discipline Honors Scholar requirements for
students following this track in their major. Links to additional information
