Honors Program Office

The Honors Program office suite is located on the first floor in the west wing of the Academic Village Building B, The Honors office is centrally located within easy reach of our students. The office staff help students find the resources and advice they need to make the most of their time at CSU. The following are just a few of the reasons to stop by the Honors office:

  • Get advice on registration, changing majors, and classes (appointments are highly recommended - contact the office to set one up)
  • Turn in forms and applications for an Honors Option, thesis, scholarship, or HSA membership
  • Sign up for Honors sponsored events and activities.
  • Check out laptops or search our electronic thesis library
  • Drop off a paper or a project in the faculty mailboxes.
  • Get candy!

The office is open from 7:45 am to 4:45 pm Monday - Friday, and the Honors staff is always happy to see students, so drop in and say hello!







Did you know that used batteries and inkjet cartridges can be recycled in the Honors office? Just swing by and drop them off in our handy recycling containers. 


Faculty Offices

Our faculty is comprised of outstanding teachers who have a dedicated commitment to working with students. The faculty members are a fantastic resource and students are encouraged to visit their instructors outside of the class. Seminar Rooms

The Honors Academic Village seminar rooms feature conference style tables and chairs to better facilitate student-teacher interactions in the classroom. Most of the rooms are equipped with multi-media podiums with built-in projectors, DVD players, and sound systems. All of the seminar rooms are a short walk down the hall from the Honors office. Students can reserve rooms for group projects and meetings, study groups, and even movie nights. Contact the Honors office for more details.

Did you know that the Honors Program has laptops available for students to use in their seminars? Come to the Honors office to reserve one for your next presentation.


Fireside Lounge

The Fireside Lounge features a gas fireplace and lots of cozy armchairs and sofas, perfect for studying, relaxing, or socializing. The lounge is open to all Honors students, from 7:30am to 9pm Monday - Thursday and 7am to 7pm on Fridays. Residents from the Honors Residential Learning Communities from both the Academic Village and Edwards Hall have access to the Fireside Lounge 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Faculty Fireside chats are held in the Fireside Lounge, within easy reach of students.
