Honors Peer Mentors
HONOR 192 ORIENTATION COMPONENT

2011 Peer Mentors

The HONR 192 course includes an orientation component that contributes to 20% of the student's final grade in the 4 credit seminar. The one hour orientation class provides an active learning environment that enhances student connections to other honors students, the campus, and the Honors curriculum. Peer mentors conduct weekly sessions that emphasize campus engagement, activity, and community.

"The Honors orientation component was a great experience because it exposed me to all the opportunities available on campus. The discussions with my peers opened my eyes to the broad range of people and personalities that exist. The class set me up with all of the tools that I needed to succeed academically and socially both here at CSU and for my life beyond college."
