Participation in the University Honors Program
involves a separate application process and
should be done AFTER you apply for admission to Colorado State
University. Applications to the Honors Program will not be reviewed
until you have been admitted to CSU. Applications for undergraduate
admission to Colorado State University can be found at www.admissions.colostate.edu or by contacting the Office of Admissions at (970) 491-6909. High
school students are highly encouraged to apply to the University
during the fall semester of their senior year.
Application Overview
The Honors Program application consists of the online application form
with a personal statement and a recommendation from a high school
teacher. A current email address for the person providing the recommendation is part of the application.
Applications will not be reviewed until you've been admitted to Colorado State University AND a complete application (including personal statement and teacher recommendation) has been received by the Honors office. The on-line application can be accessed below.

Teacher Recommendation
A teacher who has been directly involved in your education
must submit a recommendation on your behalf.
You must provide an email address for your recommender in your application. Honors will contact your reference with instructions about how to submit the recommendation. You will receive an email from us when the teacher recommendation has been sent. |
Honors Program Application Priority Date
The Honors application deadline was March
1st. When both components
of the application have been received, your application will be
reviewed. In some cases, we may ask for additional information
before making a final decision. Since the March 1 priority deadline has passed, students will be accepted only if space is available.
